Dennis joined Lions in 1979 in Kincardine, and has been an active Lion ever since as well as having perfect attendance for all these years. At the Club level he has held all executive positions and was President twice as well as chairing many committees and projects. At the District level he has served as Zone Chair (twice), Region Chair, Deputy District Governor, Cabinet Secretary (twice), GLT Coordinator, as well as chairing several committees.
Dennis is a Melvin Jones Fellow and a Life Member of both Lions Foundation of Canada and Participation Lodge. He has received two International President Certificates of Appreciation, the International President Leadership medal and a District Governor Appreciation medal.
Dennis worked at the Bruce Nuclear site for 31 years where he was a Manager in Radiation Safety before retiring in 2009.
Lion Dennis and Lion Helen between them have two married daughters and two married sons and nine grandchildren
